Tall Ships Festival & Grandparents Day

On Sunday Sept 13th Grandparents Day, my parents picked up the kids and headed down to Dana Point for the Tall Ships Festival. Here are some pictures they took.

The Floridians have landed

Mr and Mrs Maksymowicz aka Mike and Lou came and stayed 6 days with us. We definitely had a busy but wonderful visit with them. It didn't seem like we had enough time to visit and enjoy each others company but hopefully next year (if they get the floors installed..LOL) we will make our way back out to FL for a vacation. I can honestly say the boys (Josh and Mike) definitely hit it off. Can't wait till you guys start having babies....hurry up!! You'll both make great parents and beautiful kids! Hopefully they get Mike's height. Ha! Just kidding Lou.

My parents had everyone over on Sunday for a BBQ and to celebrate Josh's B-day (late). We all enjoyed ourselves especially the guys...a whole bunch of DRUNK monkeys by the end of the night!

Benitez Wedding Extravaganza

So the wedding Extravaganza started for us at 5am. Josh and I got up, ready, loaded the sleepy kids in the car and dropped them off to my parents at 6am. We headed to Starbucks for some much needed espresso and started the voyage to Fallbrook. Well not really a voyage it was only an hour and 15min drive. Josh and the boys had a 8am T time at a local Fallbrook golf course and I crashed the ladies morning breakfast J. We started our makeup lineup around 9ish. Around 12-1ish we shuttled down to the venue, got our dresses and shoes on so the girls could take their portion of pictures. I have to say we all looked STUNNING and Samantha looked breathless….absolutely flawless and boy Tom is a lucky guy.I just have to note that I’ve known Tom since 5th grade and we’ve been best friends since. Josh and Tom got close and were little dirt bike/4x4 buddies. As times have changed and people have moved on and in and out of our lives we’ve always remained close and our friendship has never dwindled. We love Tom so much and I am so thankful he has found an amazing women to call his wife. They are not only close friends of ours they are BEST friends, they are family, they are Uncle Tom and Auntie Sam. We are honored and blessed to be a part of their special day and WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
