Last Sunday my mom and I went to the Spectrum for some shopping & lunch. Can't go to the Spectrum and not take a Carousel ride. As you can see it was the highlight of the kids day.

So yesterday/Sunday I did a little persuading myself and got Josh to walk up to the park and let the kids burn off some steam. Boy was it COLD! I even got him to run all the way home!!

Never a dull moment in our house! I have to say that raising a boy is completely different then a girl. Caleb always has us on the edge of our seat and the things we think he won’t and can’t do, yeah he does!


On Saturday Emily had coaxed Caleb to climb to the TOP of her dolly bed. They used three toy bins to stand on and of course he had some help from sister. All of a sudden we heard Caleb crying and there he was stuck on the very top and scared because he didn’t know how to get down. Sorry no picture of that.

So it's been a little over a week and they're almost better! Poor Emily and Caleb have had this wretched cough and continuously flowing runny nose. The cough is still lingering… especially at night. But at least Josh and I are getting a little more sleep at night. NOW Caleb is cutting a molar! Fun times at our house!

Caleb had the BRIGHT idea to turn over his toy basket, push it next to the coffee table, stand on it and then climb on top of the GLASS coffee table. This little man has NO fear and that scares me to death.

My mom and I came home from some shopping to find Caleb and Papa all cuddled up on the couch watching TV. As soon as you pull up to my parents house Caleb starts chanting Papa...papa...papa. Since they share the same B-day they must have their own little special bond.

Wednesday’s we meet up with Kristen, Gigi and Chase for dinner and then we drop the girls off to AWANA’s and we take the boys shopping….they can’t tell us no yet. Well as you can see we ate at In and Out and the kids got some stylin new hats….future In & Out employees????

Ear Monster

So my lovely child decided to shove a little foamy from her arts and crafts IN HER EAR!! Josh and I tried washing her ear out with water so it'd come out...yeah no such luck. Well if you know Emily she does NOT like water in her ears. We took her to children's Doc because her Dr's office was closed, they had no such luck either and our little princess turned into the exorcist child at the Dr's office. FUN times!! We tried bribing her with everything this world could offer if she'd JUST let us get it out....yeah no such luck. Well a couple days later we took her to her normal Dr and they flushed her ear twice with some Colace…yeah stool softener and warm water and out popped the EAR MONSTER!!! The size of a pea! I think she has learned her lesson on NOT stuffing things in our ears or noses and thankfully she has no damage to her ear drum.

New Year's weekend cont....

After the Aquarium we headed back to my parents, hung out, BBQ some yummy food and the daddies gave the kids Jeep rides.

New Year's day we met up with the Thomas/Sadler/Boss clan and explored the Aquarium of the Pacific. It's always so precious to see the kids faces light up when they're playing and exploring new things.

So I've been lagging yet again on this blog. Here's 2 pics from New Year's Eve....I'll have to upload some more pics from home. This New Years we actually made it to midnight!! We hung out at my parents and had a Wii party.
