Our little boy had a seizure a week and a half ago... It was the scariest thing we have ever experienced. We took him to see a Neurologist on 6/15 and the Dr decided to run an EEG and an MRI to find what caused the seizure. Sunday night (Father’s Day) we had to sleep deprive him… Keep him up 3 hours later and wake him up 2 hours earlier and NOT let him sleep or nap until the test which was at 1pm. It was easier than we thought and the boy was a trooper. I was able to get him asleep pretty quickly and once he was asleep the tech started placing all the electrodes/wires on his head. After they were all in place she wrapped his little head in white gauze. It was so hard to see my little man asleep in my arms with his head wrapped up like a head trauma patient. Caleb had to sleep for 20-25 minutes, then wake up, read a book (keep still) and have crazy flashing lights in his face for 10min. Then the nurse unwrapped his head and Josh snapped the two pics of our little guy. He was so good, well behaved and we were so proud of him! He is one tough little man! We heard from the Neurologist on Tuesday and the tests came back normal and he had no seizures during it!! Thank you God!!
Caleb’s MRI is scheduled for July 7th and he will have to be sedated for that. Please keep our little guy in your prayers.
Oh Grace, we definitely will!
